In this article, we shall be discussing the natural alternatives that are available for you to color your hair.
Henna is a natural hair color, derived from the plant Lawsonia Innermis. This has been in use in India and other parts of Asia for quite a long time. The dried leaves are soaked in water, which releases the dye. This can be safely used for hair-color or body art. The color hue/tone is deep orange.
Indigo is another herbal, which is safe for use as natural color. The dried leaves of the plant Indigofera are used. The hue is deep blue, and when mixed with henna it gives an excellent array of shades depending on the relative quantities [henna and indigo].
For dark color, you could mix 2 parts of indigo dye and 1 part of henna dye.
